‘State of Nature’ report launched today suggests 60% of animal and plant species studied have declined in the past 50 years. For the first time ever, 25 of the UK’s wildlife organisations have joined forces to undertake a health check of nature
in the UK and its Overseas Territories.
Sir David Attenborough launched the report and in the foreword said: “This ground breaking report is a stark
warning – but it is also a sign of hope.”
